【摘要】:Everyelevatedplaystructureisrequiredtohaveaprotectivesurfaceinstalledandpoured-in-placesurfacesareoneofthemanychoices.Thesesurfacesarehighlytechnicalinstructure,componentselection,percentagesofcomponentsandinstallationprocedures.Thisguideisintendedtoassisttheplaygroundowner/operator,specificationwriter,designer,andsoforthindeterminingthepropertiesthatcanbeconsideredwithregardtothepoured-in-placesurfaceandsetoutconsiderationsthattheuserofthisguideshouldmaketoensureasuccessfulinstallation.Thisdocumentisaguideandshouldnotbeuseddirectlyasaperformancespecificationforpoured-in-placesurfacing.1.1Thisguidecoversinformationwithregardtothedesign,manufacture,installation,andmaintenanceofpoured-in-placeplaygroundsurfaces.Note18212;Thisdocumentisaguideandnotintendedtobeusedasaspecification;itshouldbeusedforeducationalpurposes.1.2Thisguideoutlinestheissuesofcompliancewithexistingstandards,durability,andfunctionallongevity.1.3Thisguidereviewsissuessuchasedgetreatment,abuttingsurfaces,andcombinationswithothersurfacesdesignedforcirculationorprotectivesurfaces.1.4Thisguidepresentsmaintenanceconsiderationsandgeneralproceduresthatshouldbefollowedbytheowner/operator.1.5Thisguideoutlinesagingconsiderationssuchaslossofimpactabsorption,cracking,shrinkage,heaving,andhowtoprevent,accommodate,orrectifythoseissues.1.6Thisguidepresentswarrantyconsiderations.1.7Thisguidedoesnotimplythataninjurycannotbeincurredwhenthesurfacesystemiscompliantwiththestandardsreferredtointhisguide.1.8Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.9Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
