【摘要】:Flexiblebarriermaterialsareuniversallyusedacrossindustriesandproducedbyamyriadofsuppliers.Theymaybemonolayermaterialsorcomplexcompositestructures.However,evenwiththediversityofmaterial,therearestillbasicrequirementsthatallflexiblebarriermaterialsshouldexhibit.Flexiblebarriermaterialrequirementsmaybedividedintotwocategories,initialmaterialqualification,androutineproductionandreceiptrequirementstoensurethepurchaserreceivesexactlywhatisordered.Whileallrequirementsmaybeincludedinthewrittenspecification,initialqualificationtestsmayonlybeneededpriortothefirstorder.Routineproductionandreceiptrequirementsshouldbeadheredtooneveryorder.Initialqualificationrequirementsareindicatedwitheachclause,whereapplicable.Thisguideprovidesanunderstandingoftherequirementsneededforthemanufacture,purchase,andacceptanceofflexiblebarriermaterials.Appropriatetestmethodsforcompliancearealsocited.Note18212;Alltestmethodsforaparticularrequirementmaynotbecitedduetospecificoruniquecircumstances.Foradditionalguidanceonapplicablemethods,refertoGuideF2097.Thespecificationanditsrequirementsshouldbemutuallyagreedtobythesupplierandpurchaseroftheproduct.Thishelpsensurethattheflexiblebarriermaterialswillcomplywiththespecifiedrequirements.1.1Thisguidedefinestherequirementsandconsiderationsforflexiblebarriermaterials.1.2Thisguideaddressessomecriticalprintingrequirementsforflexiblebarriermaterials.1.3Guidanceisprovidedonspecificationrequirementsandconsiderationsforflexiblebarriermaterialsintendedtobepurchasedasrollstock.1.4Iftheflexiblebarriermaterialisintendedtobepurchasedintheformofapre-madesterilebarriersystem,GuideF2559shouldbereferenced.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
